In September 2018, she began serving as a Licensed Broadcast Meteorologist at WEWS-TV in Cleveland.

Early Life & Family Background :

Childhood :

Remeisha was raised in Huntsville, Alabama, where she attended Madison County public high school. She was a cheerleader and through this competition she established her appreciation of the camera.

A twister with winds of about 250 mph ripped through her small town on May 18, 1995, ruining the house of her relatives.
She enjoyed science anyway, but this twister instilled a desire for her to learn how the weather operated.

Present Life :

While she has previously served in Alabama, she now resides in Dallas, Texas, and is searching for prospects for potential jobs there.
She is single from now on and has no kids, but she said earlier in an interview that dating in Dallas has proven to be challenging.

Her perfect man is ambitious, knowledgeable, and should dedicate himself to her, according to the interview.

Education & College :

There was a reasonably clear route for Shade to become a meteorologist. She later went to Sparkman High School when she was younger.
She entered Florida State University in 1999, where she entered the Society of American Meteorology.

She took a summer internship with The Weather Channel in June 2000 and travelled to Atlanta to obtain expertise in her industry. In 2002, she did this again, as well.
Until 2003, she continued her studies when she graduated with a B.S. Via meteorology.

Job Timeline : Salary & Net Worth

Shade took a position at 12 News KBMT out of Beaumont, Texas, as a meteorologist and reporter in September 2003, a few months after she graduated. There, along with her usual weather analysis, she did field updates and news segments.

She quit KBMT in July 2006 and moved to Alabama to work with WAFF Television as a Broadcast Meteorologist.
Before m
oving back to Texas to work at KXAS-TV, NBC 5, she worked there for over four years.

Controversy :

In November 2016, an audience called in to complain on her hair in a segment that Shade was transmitting. He referred to her as “the news-making black lady,” and went on to claim he felt that her hair was too thick.

She answered that she was proud of her ancestors, of which the man indicated that without revealing them, one might be proud of their ancestry.
Then Remeisha told the guy that she was sorry that her “ethnic hair” did not like her, but that she was proud of it.
